I’m R. Srinivas Prabhu, a Data Science and Engineering graduate from Manipal Institute of Technology (CGPA: 9.25, Rank 3), currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Amadeus. I focus on building systems that don’t just work in isolation, but hold up under real-world scale, constraints, and ambiguity. My work sits at the intersection of machine learning and backend engineering. At Kenvue, I developed a demand forecasting system for North American markets, going beyond baseline models with feature engineering and optimization to drive measurable improvements. I’ve also built VTune, a Flask-based application for hummed tune recognition using ACRCloud, and worked on problems like imbalanced classification using SMOTE and fake news detection using ML pipelines. Technically, I’m strongest in Python, SQL, Java, and TensorFlow, and I’m currently working with C++ in a production setting at Amadeus—sharpening my understanding of performance, memory, and system-level trade-offs. I care about building systems that are not only accurate, but efficient, maintainable, and deployable. I’m particularly interested in scalable ML systems, MLOps, and real-time data applications. Long term, I want to work on problems where engineering rigor and data intelligence come together to drive clear, quantifiable impact.
